The 070 Buck/Hood Thug is built for the outdoor enthusiast, and specifically for use as a survival and bushcraft knife. The Thug is a mid-size fixed blade, larger than the Punk and smaller than the Hoodlum model, but with all the same great features. The Hood designed Thug has a 5160 steel blade with corrosion-resistant powder coat finish while the full-tang handle is fitted with removable black linen Micarta scales. The handles in the Buck/Hood series are built with a Shock Mitigation System, or SMS, to reduce shock and wasted energy when in use. The Thug comes with a heavy-duty MOLLE compatible nylon sheath with leg strap cord and front storage pouch.
